Brakes still squeeling

I have just changed my pads for inspection. Rotor is good, caliper was cleaned and new front brake pads have been installed. I used the lubricant on the slide plates as well. They started to squeal after about a week and have not stopped since. What brand do you guys use, and any tips to stop the squealing would be greatly appreciated.

Let see... on a typical brake job of mine I...
-remove, Clean the calipers and associated hardware (slides and contact surfaces)

-hit the (non-turned) rotor with some burgandy scotch brite (circular motion) on both sides-then spray down

- relieve the caliper pressure... then spray down

-prepare the new pads with non-squeal cmpd; apply antiseize to the slides and guides

-reassemble the caliper/rotor.

-re-attach the wheel...

-bleed if necessary.

I've changed my pads once, but have had the brake assembly apart for PM reasons and sizing up my new brakelines.

Never had squealing issues.

(forgive me, for I may have skipped a step?)

Thats pretty much the steps I take to do my brakes as well except; I was always under the impression that you were not supposed to use never seize on brake parts because it tends to run when it gets extremely hot, allowing it to get on to the pads.

This is the stuff I normally use...
http://www.permatex.com/documents/td...tive/80078.pdf

Iirc, the stuff above has a higher "temp rating" than that of the standard issue brake lube.

I kinda got hooked on the stuff after seeing it in action in some of the jobs at work.

And you put this on the metal slide inserts as well as the back of the pads? Anywhere else?

I use the heavy/thick bluish-green colored "anti-squeal" cmpd for the pads themselves. I think it was a Permatex brand product as well.

The grease was used with any metal-on-metal parts that has to do with the caliper assembly/function.
