87-91 v. 92-97 front frame differences

Are there any major differences between the 87-91 and 92-97 front frames? I'm asking cause I was wondering if a plow set-up from a 92-97 would fit on my '89?

Thanks

The frame horns where the bumpers attach are very different. I'm not familiar with how a plow attaches to a truck so I can't say whether or not it will work.

I dont have any pics of a 80-91 frame to show you the differences, but you can look at your truck frame to see what is different

Wow, I never saw how curvy those are. Is that supposed to be some sort of "crumple" zone in case of a front end collision?

Guess I know now. I don't really need a plow right now, just looking at options cause I would like to get one eventually.

What vehicle is that pic from? A 150, 250? 2 or 4wd? I don't remember seeing those on my 250.

I don't think 250's or 350's have crumple zones, if they do I can't find them on mine.

here is a 92-97 F250-350 frame. Again, different than a 80-91 frame. And i know for a fact that the plow frames are not interchangeable

I would of swore you asked for an f150 frame. I even thought it odd being you did not have one.

This is an 85, but the frame horns are the same up to 91. The only real difference between the 80-86 and 87-91 frame horns is a few holes.

Specs between bumper horns 91 f 150

Would you happen to know what the space between the bumper horns should be on 91 f150? trying to realign and before I workout with the bumper again, I wish to know the distance therefore I know that is as good as It will get. Thank you,

Oh, My measurement is close to 40".
