Also - my glove box fell off this weekend. (literally... fell off. All the screw holes holding the door to the hinge cracked and fell off.) Anyone know of a good salvage yard in SoCal?
What year truck? I've got a decent grey glove box door off a 96 bronco (should be the same as F-150 - 450) you can have if that will work for you.

My interior is tan, but if I can't find one in the same color I'd love to take you up on the offer. (Not too hard to paint.) Would that fit the 99-03 250 interiors?

Hey Steve, I'm Rob - I was just thanking Clay for giving me such a good deal on my parts since I ordered almost everything at once. I see where that's confusing though, so I'll update it in a minute. I'm up in Valencia... just far enough north to make it too difficult to get to the last gathering of SoCal folks.
I got all my ball joint and bearing parts from the guys at Boquet Auto Parts (Boquet canyon road) near here. It's a locally owned shop with great customer service and knowledgable guys behind the counter that genuinely want to help. Lately I try to make sure to go to them first if I have a choice for this reason. (The front counter is plastered with pictures of employees and customers hot rods and project cars, as opposed to the kid at Kragen who's too busy talking about his civic to help customers.) I'll talk to them in a few minutes to see if they have it available while I still have the ball joint press "borrowed" from Napa. I was asking you guys to see if you had any opinions on the qality of aftermarket vs oem for tie rod ends. Fast Undercar was also suggested, along with PartsGuyEd.
Thanks for the replies. :-)

I don't know if it will fit the new stuff or not. Others around here may know. My interest in these trucks dies after the 96 model year or so and even then I usually skip the 80's - so 79 and earlier and then 92-96
I may end up parting out this 86 bronco I just picked up and the interior on that one is tan - so if that glove box door will work I'll let you have that one if the truck doesn't sell in 1 piece.

Yeah - I think they're all out towards Sun Valley.

I believe that glove box door is specific to SuperDutys and Excursions.
Dummy will know for sure.

Got the jamming system finished up earlier this week..
SEMA show has been going on here in Vegas and I was able to get with the US product reps to have the system tested.. The results were excellent, and when they send me copies of the videos, i'll post them up..

Looking forward to the video. What system did you install? (Always wanted one - not sure it's allowed in CA.... )

Actually, they're against Federal law, so I would suppose that means every state. Additionally, there are some states that have specifically written laws against using this technology.

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

Actually, you should be careful assuming you know what the technology is that is in question.. I don't appreciate the fact that you've insinuated i'm engaging in anything illegal on a public forum, especially with a link describing felonious activity.. I posted earlier about this install and was specific as to what it was.. These jammers are for LIDAR/Laser and are perfectly legal in the state of NV where I reside.. They are not radar jammers..
If radar jammers existed, they wouldn't be so conspicuous, or require multiple heads and line of site..
