Can a 460 use a 390 flywheel?

Much depends on the year of 460 you are working on.

Easier to post the link than it is to type the entire explaination.
Do make sure that you have the internal and external balance deal under control.
Any reason why you dont just run a 385 series flywheel? They are not expensive.

There is no such thing as an "externally balanced 390". All 390 engines were internally balanced (AKA a neutrally balanced flywheel).

So your putting in a 460 engine where a 390 was, right, & want to use the flexplate thats already on the T/C on the transmission like it sits.
Or, your going to a clutch & straight drive transmission & need the big flywheel.
If your going the straight drive route & not going to use that 460 flexplate & its not busted up in the middle or bend, I know somebody might be interested in the flexplate.
