Latest CROWNING achievement
Picture is worth a thousand words
1993 Geo Prizm
Bought 9/20/08 with 186800 miles
Six months later 200000 miles and still going.
Not bad for a $500 commuter.

Well.....
I was hoping to get the Toyota 4x4 to 200K but I think it won't make it. It's sitting at 183K now and probably won't be street legal after this summer. I did buy the toyota at 155K.
Ken it's not really a testimonial of quality just that I finaly got a car to bring over 200K miles. Porbably won't happen again for a while. But this Geo/Toyota seems to run better than other cars its age (or newer) I see on the road. This car also has no cruse control or power options.
I also hear of people with Rangers having over 200K so it's not just Japanese cars. Wait.... Ok maybe just Japanese motors.

There's a guy on here that has a 7.3 PowerStroke with 810k miles on it. Made by NaviStar (International) and not made in Japan.
Just popped in and decided to make an observation and leave a comment.

I 've gone repossessing with a friend before and just about every time we got an 06 f450 w/ a 6.0 with 450,000 miles plus, and it still runs mint.
hell my two gas job trucks ran 250k plus only one had a motor put in. Both have their original transmissions...for now....

Everyone is fine. A little banged up and bruised but fine.
A car lost control on a corner and slid into the front of my car.
