chatter when rpm's drop when cold?

I have a 03 f-350 with the 6.0 and when the truck is cold and running app. 45-60 mph and the o.d. kicks in and drops the rpm's I get a chatter, the steering wheel and dash shake, but if i kick it out of o.d. it is fine, and when the truck warms up it is just fine. Does anyone know what this might be. I have a edge juice programmer as well. One other question. I am looking to get maybe another 2 inches higher on my front end, anyone know what I can do to get the 2 inches? Thanks, mark

I think i remember the "Chatter" being something related to resonance in the downpipe on the early models and they had a replacement down pipe to correct this. I don't know if this is the problem or not.

Thanks, I will look into that. My biggest concern it was something with the trans. I just bought the truck, and my old truck was a 95 with the 7.3, so a little different motor than what I am used to.
