66 Ford door trim custom cab

On my 66 ford custom cab, someone has removed the aluminum border trim around my door panels. Does anyone sell that trim?

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, they are not being repoped. You'll need to find a set on e-bay or from a member who has extras. Plastic inserts ARE being made.

Customcab66: Think you may be confusing the availability of the door pocket and trim (which IS available from LMC) $199.95 each. They do have the "upper door panel set" which sells for $149.99 but nothing is shown for the aluminum trim pieces. (Page 82 in the online catalog).Think these were only used on the 54-66 trucks so they are somewhat rare, but do pop up occasionally. I found a set on my "take-a-part" truck and also picked up a set at Pate this year. BTW: LMC does have the door sill plates for the 65-66 trucks at a reasonable price (Page 140 - Back).

Ford66: Check with NumberDummy on this site. If anyone has any NOS in stock he can find it.

Ford66, Welcome to the site! Where in WV are you located? I have several of those inside door trim you are looking for if you need them. (If you are talking about the ones that go around your upper door panel) I always keep all usable parts off any parts truck I have ever owned in the 61-66 era. Please let me know if I can help.

Home Depot sells a nice pop in chrome button that plugs the holes, apply a little wax and elbow grease and volia...problem solved. And your wallet is a couple hundred heavier.

These parts are not being reproduced. When buying off ebay make sure you get all 6 pieces that make the set. The curved pieces only have one clip holding them on and the fall off sometimes. Clips are being reproduced.

The last time I looked for any of these mouldings (several months ago), all I could find was one corner piece...and that may be gone by now, as I listed the source who had it.

Hi there,

Was wondering if you still had any of those Custom Cab Chrome trim sets for the door panels mentioned in this thread (goes around interior door handles area)....I have a 66 F250 Cust. Cab that I am looking for these Chrome pieces for.

FTE member camperspecial65 has some extra door panel trim.

The door pockets/mouldings are actually being reproduced by bobdrake.com / $199.00 for the pair.
