51 f1 rearend ratios.

What stock ratios where available for 1951 f1 and what year center sections are interchangeable? I would like to avoid going with a 9" but get highway rear grears.
Thanks
Pete

3.73:1 was particular to the 48-50 models. 50-55 MPH is about the best you will do at about 3000 rpm with a stock high gear rear end. Not at all good for sustained freeway speed - maybe 15 to 20 minutes.
