Slightly more stylish machined trim and matching 'early' step plates can be found here: http://mongrelmotorsports.homestead.com/products.html

Those are nice pieces, just being the kinda guy I am, I think $119 each is a little pricey! Im trying to do a low buck build, basically a truck I can drive and use like a truck everyday, but not break the bank. But this is a great resource, and the pockets would be a great improvement due to the lack of storage in our Slicks.

They are pricey until you realize how they have to be made...one big piece of aluminum for the pocket trims you cut the center out of and then use for...what? Screw holes are chamfered and the machining to add the contours is additional steps. More to them than you may first think.

Cut out the center, and Im sure they have another use for them, Im willing to bet they dont just throw it away, and then put it in a press, and polish. I think the whole operation is probably done pretty easily, and the price is set on the demand............but then again, maybe Zeus makes them up on a cloud and the other gods polish them!.HAHAHAHA Ok, that sounded pretty smarta$$, but I'm just saying, they are definitely making their money, and I would too if I was them!! Great pieces, just more than I personally would pay
