rear sliding window not working
is there a fuse that I can check? if not that, then what? motor, switch?

There should be a fuse in the fuseblock. Check the owners manual for the location. Is it doing anything at all? No motor growling or jumping?

lights
overhead lights dim when I push switch so fuse ok..how do you open it up to clean cables?..it's 2004 F150 FX4

You cannot really clean cables. If you have a lariat follow the link that was posted. If you do not, you may have to remove the rear seat and give the motor a gentle hit(keep hitting) while pushing the open button.There you can lube real well the cables inside the motor. There are links to remove rear seat.

Sometimes if you have a friend hold the swith and gently hit the window it will allow it to break free and then you can clean the hell out of the track. This worked for me but I guess it depends on how bad it is.
