electric fan install

Anyone know the proper way to install one of these using the supplied nylon tie straps and little "feet" . Mine came with no directions at all. I assume the ties go throught the radiator from the front, the fan is a puller, what about the little "feet"? thanks

You will be very sorry if you use the ties through the core of the radiator. They are famous for causing leaks. Make a bracket to bolt to the radiator support or something.

My fan has been installed using the plastic ties thru the radiator core for 6 years with no problems. I use a stock brass radiator. I wouldn't use them with an aluminum one, tho.

The ties are installed using the supplied pads on both sides to cushion its shaking against the fins.

Those are basically zip ties. Pitch them out and build some brackets.
