1963 F-100 Custom Cab

Hello have been around this place for a verry short time. It's good to see all the Ford fans who love old Ford trucks like I do.
What I have is a 1963 ford F-100 Custom Cab and would love to restore it back to New Original. I was wonderring what all would have came on this truck new as in add ons and such. I have found a place where I can get most all the parts I need a place called LMC trucl out of Lenexa Kansas. Has anyond done anny business with them and if so are they a good business to deal with. This is going to be my first restoration and I want to do it right the first time. (I"M GOING TO BE AS PICKEY AS I CAN.) Anny help would be highly welcomed. Thanks Henry Carter

Would suggest looking at Dennis Carpenter for parts. NumberDummy should pop in soon to help you out.

Welcome aboard; as for your statement (I'm going to be pickey as I can); as IsoGrifo mention I also recommend Dennis Carpenter. I must admit I used LMC for several trucks and I'm getting away from them due to quailty of parts. I use npd & the truck shop for most my stuff now. DC is top notch & top dollar. The best thing about lmc is the catalogs have a pretty good layout kinda like a beginners service manual.
The biggest difference from Custom cab 63 / 64 model is the speedo, standard cab white, customcab chrome with the panel below the speedo on 64 models. That beside door elbems is the most noticeable difference, also two tone dash is a nice touch as well.
I'm not 100% on all the difference, due to dealer options cause alot of confusion as well.
Again welcome aboard!!!!
Its a great website.

LMC is the Wal-Mart of truck parts. They have a lot, but it's always from the lowest cost provider. I vastly prefer Carolina Classics, Dennis Carpenter and Flashback F100s over LMC.

If you are looking for quality, made in the USA, truck bed parts, then you should look at MAR-K. We are a sponsor of this site, and have a LOT of experience building old trucks. We don't have as much for the wide beds as we do the flaresides.
Our website is www.mar-k.com .
Hope this helps!

Welcome Henry.

NPD is a good source too. I just ordered the cowl seal, and a few rubber pieces from NPD and they are were made by Dennis carpenter. I've also ordered from Carolina Classic and stuff has been great, window internals order goes to CC next month. Summit and the local AdvancedAuto also have supplied quite a lot. FYI - in the catalogs a rear drum was quite a bit, AdvancedAuto could get it for less than half the catalog price.

You can also post parts that you want and some can see if new stuff is around..new as in genuine FoMoCo...ebay has also been very kind to me...Ive got some ultra rare pieces off of there for mine...

ask question...lots of questions...just be sure to post complete info...yr,model,engine/trans,2 or 4WD long/shortbed, styleside/flareside/'wrong bed' styleside...

heres the skinny on the bed terminology...

Styleside: Typically 64-6 double walled beds but are also termed that on the 57-60 trucks. This bed is used on 61-6 trucks primarily on the 4WD but also on 63s as I recall as a mid year replacement for the integral bodied pickups due to their built in buckling issue from overloading.

Flareside...same as what GM peeps call a step side

'Wrong bed' styleside...the 57-60 design single wall pickup box used on 4WD and the 63s as mentioned above, available in 3 lengths...
