Here are some quick pics of the 84 F150 I have been working on. Used to be my wifes grandpa. They have owned it since it was new. It was sitting for about 10+ years out in a field. I have replaced just about everything one can buy at the parts stores to make it safe and road worthy. Original drivetrain was a stock 5.0. I bought a roller motors from a 92 Mustang complete with front serpentine setup, refreshed it and dropped it in. Also added an FRPP Ecam to it with rebuilt E7 heads and AlexParts valve springs that I picked cheap. Lots of more details, any questions feel free to ask. Have more plans for it. No plans to paint it, I love the current look on it.

I had two trucks until last fall I retired this truck. It may not look too bad in this pic, but the cab was totally shot, to the point the drivers door wouldn't shut anymore without pushing in on the back of the cab, so I stripped almost everything off of it including the engine and perches, then I scrapped the rest of it.

Oh okay, that's good. I've seen people attempt engine swaps, and then realize the perches are different and won't work.

Those were the dog dishes my truck had originally, but one of the front ones was missing, and I wasn't ever able to track down one with the opening for the locking hub. Drove me crazy. I always liked the look of them on the steel wheels. Especially with a nice tall, skinny tire.

I think those were basically the same ones my 72 250 had, although it wasn't 4wd. And that reminds me of the lightning strike it took one night. It apparently went out across the right front tire's lower sidewall to a piece of rebar in the concrete as the sidewall looked like someone had taken a Brillo pad to it. And it blew the hubcap halfway across the yard.
