It bent in the direction on the drivers side about a foot back on both rails. They tell me it was a easy fix nothing was effected beyond that point.

Here's some pics of my ghetto paint job to take away from the fact the bed is off an 89 model. Lumina is my daily driver...

Spenny, to be honest i think the paint job looks pretty good. Its different from every truck ive seen, and its not really flashy. I like it.

Here are the pics of my current project, 1986 F-250HD. I essentially got this truck for free. I had saved $300 to buy a new winch for my trailer when I saw this truck on CL. It didn't run due to an electrical problem but it had an 8k Warn winch(currently mounted on my trailer now) and the guy was desperate for cash and only wanted $300. The 460/C6 setup only has 60k miles and the PO had about $800 worth of receipts to go with the truck replacing parts to fix it.

What a deal, I wouldn't mind finding something like that for cheap....

Finally I have a pic....not the best, and don't ask about the scooter.

I'm a newbie here. I will be picking up my "New" '82 F250/F350 soon! It's mine, just have to pick it up:

I will start a build thread somewhere once I get started.

It has the flatbed, of course.
Hidden 5th Wheel
351M
Newly rebuild automatic
Bald tires
All the parts needed to get started

I may have LOTS of questions. We have wanted a late 70's or early 80's Ford for a long time. I'm pretty excited but I know a heck of a lot more about Jeeps (and that's not too much) than I do about building up a Ford pickup.
