Well welcome to the forum. When you get a chance, click on the Roadside help network link and go to mods and maintenance and read all you want. There are tons of things there to help you get more use and enjoyment out of your EX.

Here you go, a couple of pieces of aluminum foil and a few hours of your time, if you take your time, and you will be all set.

lock actuator

Hello, Search ebay for "door lock actuators" there are many listed thy are aftermarket ones that stereo places use when you purchase alarms and stuff.
i did this to mine several years ago and the still work great and the best thing is they are only $3 to $5 dollars.
You leave your old actuator in and hooked up as factory you can run the new ones inline i only drilled one hole to mount the new actuator I found out which orginal wire is for up and which is for down and spliced the new one into those wires then hooked up the rod with the coupling provided. So when you go to unlock or lock your are still using the orginal with the help of the new one. I have done this to about 10 or more doors and they work like new and it is CHEAP compared to buying factory. it is had to explain how exactly to do it but if you take a little time on the first one you will see how easy it is. You can get all four for less than 420 bucks depending on shipping plus a little time.
Hope this helps
Good luck AL
