Headlight mod on 2008 250

Here is a quick easy mod for your truck; I took the yellow bulb assy. from the top headlight compartment and drilled a hole next to the other yellow bulb in the blinker assy. There is sort of a tab inside the yellow reflector, I just drilled it out. I picked up a set of h-13 hid lights and they fit o.k. in the top headlight spot, I just put a little silcone to hold them in place and seal it. Hooked it up to one of the upfitter switches and it works and looks great. You can get a set of hid lights here from one of our sponsors for less than $100.00 ask for the 55 watt ballasts they are a little brighter than the standard 35 watt ones. It makes a big difference at night for visibility, well worth the few dollars for the lights. The lights are a little more concentrated in the smaller headlight spot, but it kind of works better that way, and they have good alignment on the ground. it looks cool as well.

I have tried to post pics a bunch of times and it won't work so I gave up. I would not say this thread is worthless, I am just explaining a good idea, it's not that hard to follow. Thanks for your positive feedback though.

You've gotta post pics... If you're asking me to use my imagination, then I inevitably start thinking about women!
