cam swap

i want to swap my stock cams with bigger duration cams but i dont know what the stock specs on a 2002 4.6 in a f-150. can anybody help. what do i need to pull this off?

patience..the cams,also the cam gears..cause the stock cams take the gear with the cam..aftermarket cams dont have the chain gear on the cam... u can search online..just put F150 5.4 cam swap..and u will find write ups

Unless you plan on changing the intake manifold-you're wasting your time with new cams.

Or at least porting the heads!
Just a cam swap will be more money and trouble then it's worth.

well i want and need more power, i already did a few minor upgrades like cold air, throttlebody and spacer, exhast and few other things. i dont have the money for a supercharger or turbos anddont want nos. any suggestions?

Get rid of the throttle body spacer and try a good tuner. Also gears would be a good option if that is in the budget.
