Thanks but it looks better in the pictures than in person, I still have a little bit of work to do to get it really smooth.

Thanks. The sucky part is I still need to smooth out the underside, and that's the side that someone is more likely to see.

Very nice! I'd be tempted to line x those wheel wells to prevent the same from happening again.

Thanks. I was thinking about doing something like that. I'm sorta going back and forth though because unlike when it was new, with little, if any, paint in that area, it's now got a heavy coat of epoxy sealer and will be painted before the outer quarter panels are installed so there will be good protection. Combine that with the fact that it'll never be driven in the rain or on dirt/gravel roads means that there shouldn't be the dirt build up that caused the rot to begin with.

Going great.
I've got it ready for paint now after rust repair and body work.
All of which you know well.
Thanks for asking.
I took the '74 out for a desert run this week just to get away.
I'll post some pix.
Hope you get to get a good amount of work done before you have to leave again.
Good luck with that, and as usual your attention to detail is awesome.

Thanks Chief, X2 on the "shoulda" . I've had a few boats and I've always looked at boats as just a hole in the water you throw money into.

Mike I started reading this post to night, got distracted and just started poking around the internet and when I seen this I thought of your post.

Not much progress right now, like any long term project, life gets in the way every now and then.
I'll see if I can get you some pictures of the front of the quarters.

Hello Mike oh oh zero zero oh zero oh oh zero zero and then some. LOL

A while back you posted a picture of the fuel plumbing you did from the carb to the pump, which looked very neat, and preferable to rubber hosing (which I had).

I stole that idea for my truck.

Thank you !

Thanks, feel free to "steal" any ideas you might see. I doubt they're original to me, I probably stole them from someone else .
