Thanks for the kind words Tina and Stuffz. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way the corners turned out.
My start in Boston has been delayed so I'll be home a little longer, which is good. The entire back of the cab is bare steel and this will give me a chance to get it in epoxy.

I just read through this entire thread. Very inspiring to everyone. The history on the truck, the attention to detail....Great job-- and I'll be looking forward to seeing the updates. I wish I had a 1/10 of your patience. Makes me want to tear down my truck to the frame and go to town, so its "New" when I'm done.

Hi all, I'm away from home for a while so there won't be any updates to the Pumpkin. I just wanted to give a shout-out and a big thank you to Rich (77&79F250), I've been trying to track down a part for close to three years with no luck. Rich checked and had one, got it out to me right away.
Thanks Rich .

Thanks for the kind words, I'm gettin' anxious to get the ol' girl back on the road.
I knew the mechanical part would go fairly quickly and expected it to slow down when I got to the paint and body work part, just didn't expect it to go this slow.
Originally I was going to have it done professionally but changed my mind and decided to do it myself, so now it's a learning curve, and a slow one at that .

Hey Mike,

I'm just catching up on your thread and wanted to say hi and job well done! The progress is solid and the attention to detail is second to none.

Keep it up (once you get back)!

Hey guys, hope you all had a merry Christmas. I've been home on Christmas break for a couple of weeks and have to leave tomorrow to go back to Boston .
Didn't really have any time to do anything on the Pumpkin this time but apparently ol' Santa thought I was a good little boy this past year. One of his elfs (that bears a striking resemblance to my UPS guy) dropped this off on my door step this morning, a little late but that's okay, I know he's been pretty busy.
Maybe I'll get to use it this year.
I'll post updates as things happen.
Hope all of you have a good year ahead of you.

Mike each update makes it worth the wait, can't wait to see what tips you supply us when preparing and spraying.

Nice. That will lay down some nice paint. I used Sata cups on my paint job. Makes mixing and clean-up easy with less hassle. Now you need to find some time to do it.

Lookin good Mike!

We don't mind waiting between posts for your progress. Just helps build the suspense

EDIT: This post just broke 1,000 for this thread!

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I'm really anxious to get back to work on the Pumpkin but unfortunately, I have to be out here doin' what I'm doin' so I can afford to do what I want to do when I get back home.
