I have a 2005 Expedition. The A/C won't blow through the vents consistantly. It does it intermittently. It will come out of the defroster and floor, but when I place it on vents it works for a while and then stops blowing air through the vents

any suggestions on how to fix or where I can look up a fix for DIY fix

Don't overlook page 2 of that thread, v1uhoh posted a few pictures.

 

Just an FYI. IINM, when you place the control in the 'Vents' position, the A/C is shut down and you should only get outside air through the 'vents'. (I think what you are describing is that you don't get ANY air through the vents, no A/C air and no outside air)
