BobbyDiesel71 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I am getting some input that we could vary the location.
I am thinking we could get everyone's opinion about their FAV locations!!!

Sorry to hear that murph. Hopefully nest time!

Id like to make this weekly so its soemthing consistant that we can drop in at when we can.

Bob, we can vary location but IMO once you start doing that, things will get confusing and eventually no one will pick spots after awhile. If we stay consistant each week then I think it will be better. Unless we go to one spot for a month or something. I dunno, K.I.S.S.

I agree, K.I.S.S.
Everything will work out, just maybe not this week.
Who knows, if everything does works out, you just might see our old junkers.

Hope for the best,
Murph.

not sure if this is how to send new info to you

Bobby,
I tried to reply back to your e mail but got a message I couildn't do so?
So I'm replying back this way.
Does it work this way or should I be somewere else to do so?

Thanks for the offer to help me out with my truck.
It is running good
Just some maintence issues.
Thanks to you guys, I'm gathering the info and will tackle it.

I noticed your mods and have a few questions. I sent this to another guy who had similar mods DP/Swamps. He didn't respond back.

The DP/Swamps seems to be a popular combo.

####Any issues with the powder metal rods and 400 hp. I have the powder rods as well.######

HPOP exhaust. This is the 1st time i've heard about this exhaust. Any more info on it.
Your profile: Swamps/ dp tuner. What stage injectors.why swamps. I was on a trip and stopped into swamps and saw there set up on rebuilds. Very nice people/nice set up. Cost was around $1600 (rebuilt) for 1st stage 90 hp.
A/c high torques new 90hp single are $2000.(brand new)
did you have dp tuner custom tune truck.
What kind of fuel economy

i have diesel innovations 6 position stock injectors/turbo.
In the 100/140 setting cold truck, light load, pull off the trhottle it goes into a serging like big cam lope.put light throttle on straightens out.this makes the better half uneasy.run 65 to 85 most of the time.No issues
No custom tune on mine but probably needs it.

I'll say it really runs when you get on it. Night and day compared to previous super chips.

Diesel innovations is 15 hrs away so i might change to dp tuner.

Do you like dp tuner any issues like i'm having. What hp setting do usally
run at.
How long/miles with this set up
how about the single shots compared to splits.
Was the injector noise alot more then splitshots .
What are EGT's,Fuel economy if you are trying to get good economy.

Thanks for any input.

Tim

It was a good time but it seems like everyone that was there wants to move it to a different location.

Im up for moving it but the main reason I chose Sonic was because then we are outside and can hang out. So lets try to find a good common place by monday afternoon so it can be set in stone so it doenst get too confusing. I know one place that was brought up was the village tavern in carol stream.

Lets hear your thoughts!

I think some sort of drive in place would be better.

I was thinking this too. There's a place that hosts car shows like this in Byron, Ill.
I'm not suggesting that location, but a drive in is a nice setting for this sort of thing.

Another thing I was thinking was a BBQ meet. There are tons of places that would
work out well for something like that. I haven't talked to my buddy about it yet, but
his folks' place would be great. They're near Huntley, and have a nice sized lot that
could accommodate a bunch of trucks (sorry, no burnouts :/ ). They are also members
of the local Model T club, so there would be cool old Ford stuff to check out.

Just an idea, I'm headed over to my buddy's place now. I'll run the idea by him.

Murph.
