Has anyone come across a vender that has a polyethylene 19 gal. Mid fuel tank for replacement on a 1979 F-150 2wd SUPERCAB. All the venders I have connected or seen on the net do not carry a plastic tank for the supercab. Only medal. This includes some of our FTE sponsors.

OP: Are you looking for the factory plastic midship tank? If so...you are SOL.

Nobody makes any, and there are not one in stock anywhere in the country. Totally extinct.

i'm sure you could find a poly tank tht will fit, but like jerma said they dont make them for your application afaik

 

It’s been 10 years since I last asked the question, has there been any update on a replacement midship side gas tank for the F series Supercab 2wd models?
