99 F150 5.4, supercharger recommendations
I have done some research on superchargers and I think I should purchase a twin screw since I want low and mid range power. They also look like they would be easier to install which is perfect for a novice mechanic like me, correct? It seems like the Kenne Bell SC's are a very good quality, I just can't find anywhere online where I can get pricing and purchase one, I can't even find out if they make one for my truck.
I currently have a flowmaster catback exhaust, a K&N intake and a Hypertech computer programmer. I am tired of spending money for these minimum HP gains that I can't feel the additional HP so I figure I should just spend the money for an SC. This truck is my primary vehicle but I only put about 2K-3K on it annually since I have a company truck for work. I want something very reliable but I want to get the maximum HP without having problems with the engine, trans, 4x4, etc. Can I safely add 100+ HP? How much PSI would I need for that HP? What SC's does everyone recommend for my needs? Please give me all the information to help me purchase a fair priced, good quality SC that will suit my needs. Thank you!

KB no longer makes a kit for your truck.
You would have to find it used and I had one of the kits that just bolt on top of the stock intake-manifold and it sucked. It had no inter-cooler and made more heat then power.
The best most reliable setup for your truck would be the stock Lightning supercharger swap.
I put one on my truck and upgraded to a KB blower that is made for the Lightning guys as an up grade.
But the M112 will make as much power as you can run on your stock block anyway. (Just by changing pulleys around )
Let me know if you need more info on the swap.

So the stock Lightning SC is a direct bolt on for my truck, correct? Therefore any Lightning SC upgrade would also be a direct bolt on for my truck. Is the M112 made by Eaton? Is the M112 much better than a stock Lightning SC? Where is the best website to purchase the M112? Is it easy to install? What is the max PSI/HP this unit can handle and my block/trans/4x4/etc?

An Eaton M112 is what came stock on the Lightning and also the 02,03 Harley trucks.
Yes it is a direct bolt on to your 99 5.4 but you cant just buy the blower. You need the complete intake assembly. A good one looks like this.
Lightning or 02 Harley
03 Harley.
After you have a kit like that you will also need all the other parts.
This guy Mike sells kits. And will add or subtract anything you may have found used or already have and don't need. Hes a great guy and is very helpful with the swap.

Then you will need a custom tune for your computer to make it all work.
The install is an intake-manifold swap and a lot of other things to install and swap but it not that difficult.
As for power,
like I said ,it's capable of making more power then your stock block can handle. So there's really no need for an upgrade blower unless you get a built block.
Aftermarket blowers they make that will bolt right up are the 2.3 KB and Whipple. 2.6 and 2.8 KB and a 3.4 Whipple.
Depending on hoe you drive and your tune, your stock block should handle 10 to 12 PSI.
You will need to upgrade your tranny with a valve body or plate kit they call it for the 4r70w.
