Trying to get input - Have an opportunity to buy an F-700, 370 gas motor, Allison auto flatbed truck. 1985.
Speedo says 47,000. Dash is trashed. Hard to tell, but it seems to have more than 47,000 miles on it. But then, it is real tight, steering, shifting, back and forth from drive to reverse no slop whatsoever.
I was thinking of buying it to pull my skidsteer around, and to haul water (if my well dries up in this drought). Guy started at 5,000, now wants half. In this economy, everyone is letting things go cheap.
What do you think?
