Prepping for restoration/paint

Has anyone prep'd their F1 (mine is a 52) by mediablasting? Or a combination of media, sanding, tig weld, sanding, etc.....?

Body Prep

All of the above; I sand blasted mine, then mig's body repairs, then sand, sand . sand. Just now getting ready for more spot painting so I can assemble fenders to body.
