One thing led to another?!

Well I bought a seat the other day to replace the old one full of mouse crap potato bags and seat cushions and ended up here. Sorry if there are more pics than one would want want but the project has started. All is going well so far !! here are the pics from before to current state.

Hey that seat looks good, boy sure would be nice to have a interior to go along with it.

maybe Ill start on just the interior.....

well everything is out now. all that time i spent i should just maybe clean up the frame a bit to match the interior.

I will post up more pics the farther i get but this is where it stands as of last night.

I do get an unfair amount of time to work on it. The wife works as a Jailer 4 days a week so last weekend I had the garage to my self all weekend no one to interrupt my work. and now every night after work this month she will be working night shift which leaves me at home by my self 4 nights a week. I know I know its not fair. No Kids yet either....

Shoot I started looking through the pictures and was going to suggest a way to save your self a lot of time and money:

Sell the seat, sit on the floor stick your feet out the hole in the floorboard and yess "Yabba Dabba Dooo!" real loud while moving your feet real fast.

But as I got to the end of the pics, it looks like you've advanced well beyond that stage - and it looks great by the way!

looks real nice, also looked like a really great body to start with too. what did you prime the frame and topcoat with? and did you sandblast the frame or wire wheel or??
thanks

lol now thats funny right there

the truck is in pretty good condition to start with , but after stripping it all down I tried wire brushing and it took forever and was hardly worth the effort for the end result so i borrowed father in-laws car trailer and had washed and blasted along with a bunch of other parts. it cost a little more than i had originally planned mostly cause i told them it was just a frame. but by far worth every single penny. after i got it back i bought the herculiner bed liner kit and started spraying it on, bunch of hours later is the result you see. they grey frame you see it just sandblasted metal. i cant wait till the weekend and can get a whole bunch more done on it.

its not too much thicker but gets a whole lot more coverage way easier. almost no touch up left afterwards i still have half the truck to go but i think i need to thin it out a but with xylol (xylene) maximum 10% and it will help it spray easier. my compressor is a bit under powered too.

Mark F-4 Zephyr

I know i haven't posted anything in a while, but i got some more updated pics. I decided to part out my 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII that got infested with mice. So now my F-4 Should ride a bit smoother. I also should be able to go faster than 50-55 MPH max. which actually lead me to a hard decition that I have yet to make. The front subframe off the lincoln easily accepts its own v8.

Question is :

Do I use the 290 HP Lincoln V8 32 valve 4 cam

or

Do I use the 100 HP 8BA Flathead.

Both will install as easy as one another. but one is nastalgic one has a fun factor. Rebuilding cost and performance upgrades are almost same for each motor. I need input desperately as i just can not decide, its a vicious circle!!!
