2004 Ranger Clutch line disconnect wont re-connect
Have see all the post about disconnecting clutch line at slave cylinder. (did that minimal problems)
Replaced clutch disc etc. Not Clutch slave cylinder. Engine (replaced it also) are back in truck an I can not get the line to reconnect onto the slave cylinder. At present am thinking that there is pressure in slave cylinder since new clutch disc is thicker than old one.
Any help suggestions are appreciated. Only have access to wifes car for 2 more days an school starts (she goes to work)

Got it connected. used a piece of electrical conduit (cut out slot in side to fit around line) sized it to fit from connector to 1/4 inch from frame an used screwdriver to lever pry an the line snapped in super smothly. Gonna keep the "special tool" cause eventually will have to do slave cylinder.
