Testing the P I P sensor

How do you test the pip sensor on a 1995 5.8 bronco. I think I have it narrowed down to the PIP . No Spark Good Crank

I just solved this problem on my Bronco 1990 5.0L AOD automatic last summer, or maybe it was fall. Anyway I ended up rebuilding the distributor with all new parts. Stator, PIP, Cap, Rotor. Doing that fixed the no run problem but it was still running roughly, and now the fuel pressure drops when it gets hot. So it's an ongoing challenge. Yea!
