Time to bid farewell

Well ladies and gentlemen, time for me to head my seperate way. Sold my F 350 Friday and purchased my 2009 Dodge 5500 C/C. It is quite a hauling machine. No wat that F 450 could have measured up. It lacks a bit in comforts even though it is an SRT model. SO far I am impressed with the 6.7 Cummings and hope it keeps improving as it breaks in. Take care all and if I am ever back in the market for a ford I will stop in to check in with you all. This is an exceptional site and I have learned more about ford poducts here in my short time than even expected.

No, NO, NO you don't have to leave. We will place you on "Temp Leave of Absence".
That is until you update us as to how you feel about the truck after you have had it awhile.
I hope it is all you were looking for and it fits your needs. There is not many things as great as a new truck smell....by any manufacture. The Cummins motor is a good stout engine.
Grab life by the Horns and Best of wishes,
Jon

Just curious, why'd you go with the Dodge instead of a Super Duty?

I actually stopped in and Looked at a new Dodge last night,,(Dealer was closed),when I drove by it earlier,,saw the Cummins badge,,,was 0 % 72 months or $4,500 Rebate,,,thinking a better deal prob could be had,,,truck was Black (I think) with Gold bottom,,but it was a "**** on the dash 4x4 system",,no rear helper springs,,,little AS tires,,,and it was the older stile nose,,,not an 09' stile nose,,,They also had a Ram 1500 with the Bed Box setup,,was kinda cool,,could put alot goodies in it,,,,Took all of about 5 mins and was back in the Explorer,,on or way home.
