I've been considering doing some light mod creation. No, not swapping bulbs, but making them myself. My first project is going to be a lightbar for the roof, then move on to other parts (turn/stop/tail, third brake light, parking/turn, etc). What is the normal price on super-bright LED replacements? I saw someone say earlier $20? Wonder if I could get under this

Maybe a nice incentive could be in store for FTE supporters

Edit: Ok, no. My parts supplier has them cheap. I mean REAL cheap. I'll pick up some and review them. If they are good to go, then I'll post here with pics.

Edit 2, because I'm an idiot and forgot: I can also get a bulk discount (anything over 10 or over 100). If I order 100, the total would be *drumroll* $100 before shipping. I ordered 2 to take a look at them.

So just for some clarification here...

Don't buy something like this because it won't be bright enough, go for something like this, correct? How hard is it to get the green stuff off the cluster? I want the green gone

You want the 360* LEDs. The green will be gone with the blue LEDs. I don't see any green in mine anymore.

Do the LEDs work with the dimmer? I do a lot of mountain driving at night and prefer to dim the instrument lights.

Dont buy them from ebay. You will be waiting 2 weeks to a month to get them(ask me how I know....) and they arnt as nice as the ones from superbrightleds.com

Syco has the link for the ones you will need. Think its on the first page.

Hey syco my needles dont "glow" as nice as yours. Are they supposed to be an orange/yellow or are they supposed to be white like yours? Maybe the FL sun messed with mine.

Thats what i did too, but just on my ac panel one, and my stereo is all blue also but on my cluster i got to get LED blue lights that have 4 LED on it it and has a 90 degree Viewing angle so it can have a brighter look on the dash cluster. and there dim-able because some LED don't dim when you dim it. the ones i have are able to DIMand also When you open the doors all the lights except the dome light has blue lights. and where your feet goes there all blue and i have a switch that has blue lights on the rear seat on the floor also, and the camper shell has LED whites so when i go camping and all i have light on it. oh and also on my speaker i have a Neon strip around it

I upload in a bit
