Hawkeye58 is starting off with a positive reputation.
Cracked Exhaust manifold... common problem?

Today I cracked the right (passenger side) exhaust manifold, nearly completely in half. Just behind cylinder three's port, headed to the flange. Is this a common with the 2.9L engine and it's exhaust set up?

Yes, they're known for cracking. Completely or almost in half like yours did isn't unheard of. Be sure to inspect any junkyard replacements carefully.

"alot" is not a word...

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
