I have a 2002 F150 with a Tonneau Master cover on the bed. I tried searching the web for Tonneau Masters, but couldn't find them. Are they out of business?
The velcro is coming off of one of the rails. The velcro is 1-inch wide. I was wondering if anyone new of a source for the velcro and what adhesive I should use.
Thanks,
Paul
I don't know tonneau master that well, but before you try calling them, take off the driver's side rail. There will be a Serial number that they will ask for, you might also find their phone number.
It's not looking good for them, I tried one of my contact's line card and they didn't show up. You may want to check with Truxedo, see if they will sell you their strip of hook velco. Then if you need adhesive, maybe 3m super77 or a window sealer.
I saw those Covers when I was looking a few years ago... I checked with my buddy Dave at the camper place, he said he hasnt used them in a few years. He even advised me not to, when I was looking. and steered me to the brand " Berlin Cover" I can say, I couldnt be happier. It hasnt stretched or anything, and was about $100.00 bucks. It snaps.
Velcro is always, regardless of MFG a pain. They peel off, they pick up dirt ect... Go to a camper of fabric shop... get the best stuff you can find, and sew it on in place is all you can do.
