My F150 has been makin a weird noise for the past two days. The noise only can be heard while idlin (not as loud though) and can be slightly heard from 1,000 rpms to 2,000 rpms but from 2100 rpms to 2500 rpms you can really hear it whine. What do you guys think it is? Also another thing in the video, is at around 2 mins into the vid, i start flooring the gas pedal to allow it to downshift into 1st gear. Every time i do this the truck hesitates for a second. What do you guys think is causing this? Thanks again for the help and i hope the video link helps! Also, forgot to mention that the check engine light came on the other day for about five mins and went off. While the check engine light was one, it hesitated really bad. Took it to autozone (eng light had shut off by then) and the guy their said no codes were throwin.

Wow. I hear several noises. One I think is the camcorder lens cover bouncing around on its tether. Another, a whine, sounds like a vacuum leak...a pretty bad one. Is you're truck 4wd? If so, I'd say that vacuum leak is causing IWE problems and you're losing vacuum to the hubs causing the other sound i hear, which is your hubs engaging, causing your transfer case to spin. The last is when you floor it. That sounds like a misfire or spark knock, and likely caused your check engine light. Find someone else with a better reader, so you can pull pending and stored codes.
