ball joints 77 F150 4x4?
I ordered a pile of parts for my 77, some of which are ball joints.
Can someone point me towards a tech article that may already ilustrate or talk about replacing ball joints on the 73-79 f150 4x4's?
I did this job on a 78 probably 10 years ago.... it isn't real clear in my memory & I didn't have such a great resorce as FTE back then.
if anyone can give tips, suggestions or point me in the right direction.... i'm no search ninja, I try but the well comes up dry for me.

here is a link to a page i just used the other day. towards the top of the page are links to jpeg images of scans or instruction for removal and assembly. The new ball joints SHOULD have come with these same instructions. It is fairly straight forward.
I have 78 with a Dana 44. I am not sure if the dana 60, etc. are the same or not? On the 44 there are threaded preload inserts for the top ball joints, these also should have came new with the new joints. It tells how to torque these properly in the instructions.
The nuts for the bottom joints are torque prevailing, and the new ones must be used.
You will obviously need a ball joint press tool. I don't have a vise, but one would help alot.
Any questions feel free to ask.

thanks man.
I actually tore it all down last night & it started coming back to me. This time I just sent the steering knuckles in to a local shop & had the onl joints pressed out & new ones pressed in. likewise with the U-joints on the front axle ends. Might as well while I've got it all apart right?
