Hey i was in Wal-mart and i noticed some good looking tires! They are the new goodyear wrangler authority a/t. I cant find anything about them online, i did find out that they are made for walmart only. Does anyone have them or know about them?? I need new tires ASAP and for $175 a tire these look good and are still goodyears, never had a problem with goodyear tires. Thanks for your input

 

On my old f150 I have some goodyear's that were made for sam's club (wal-mart) and never had an issue.
I had the same concern's that you did, so the manager of the sam's club gave me the phone# of their tire engineer. I talked to him about the tires and he assured me that if I did not like the tires after they were on the truck to call him back and he would have the local store replace them. So I say go for it.

 

Thanks, the guy here told me the same, still got the goodyear name just not sold elswhere yet. They look great and for the price i cant beat that!

 

I forgot to mention what the tire engineer said they have the MFG. do to there tires.
1. a heavy center bead to help with wandering on a crack HWY.
2. the ribbed sidewall.
