Though I would pass this on. No idea of price, pretty neat. Appears to be 4x4.

Very cool dude!! I didnt see a price? My wife even liked that and she normally dont like COE's. I dont think its 4WD, just VERY tall. It looks awesome man!! I'd love to have it.

That monster is a 4X4. It's a fairly common truck used by utility companies to set utility poles. There's a couple of guys on the board that own them, I know theres a '48-50 on the board.

It's got a Timken front axle and no lock outs. That's a set up that M-H would have used. But I'm surprised there's no badges (or tell tale signs of former badges) telling us what kind a 4x4 it's sitting on. M-H, Napco, and Fabco would all have had hood badges. I doubt that it's a Coleman.

$12,000 seems pretty steep to me, I think it's going to sit for while. The biggest problem with those big monsters is the costs; storage, parts and operation.

yeah, there's a dude that has a pretty red c-600 w/ stake bed in that same neck of the woods listed here on FTE classifieds asking $9500 and has been for I don't know how many years. this beast presented here is much much rarer, though.

I think that was probably the truck Russia used to launch SPUTNICK in orbit. Look out I am telling my age which is not good.
