One for sure thing - the 6.4 Liter Tranny Cooler in the front - the big one.
Next (dollars permitting) - fit a compressed air system into the frame - tires, beach toys, and, uhhh............ AIR HORNS BWAAA-HA-HA.
I'm also in for the gauges - nothing beats a good set of 2" analogs to instantaneously spot what the engine is doing.
Good luck on the chassis off restoration.
6.4??? Will that fit or did you mean 6.0?

6.0L tranny cooler and on-board air are on my list, but not necessary to do while the body is off. In fact, i'd hate to mount compressor and tank, only to find something on the body interferes when I set it back on.

Bro, I don't remember reading if you plan on doing this (and I'm too lazy to go back and check! ) but since you have such EASY access to your tank, crack open that big black ring, remove the assembly, and do the harpoon mod.
Get a pair of PVC cutters , reach in and cut the two tubes protruding into the tank.
This will allow you to fill your tank COMPLETELY, within second of it clicking off the first time, instead of standing there for another 8 minutes while you slowly let another 5 to 6 gallons of fuel trickle in.

Oh yeah, that is definitely gonna happen, along with the "hutch" type mods to the pickups and fittings. So easy to do right now, I wouldn't miss that opportunity!
Thanks... but its alot of work! The best part is that when I went to powerwash the chassis, most of the "rust" turned out to be dirt and grime!!! I blasted it off like an eraser and was left with only a few rust spots where things rub the chassis and rock chips, etc. I need to post some "after pictures"

Dirt and grime would be sweet but in my case, the previous owner went to Vermont a couple of times during the skiing season and I doubt he ever washed the undercarriage.
