I haven't heard the story. But I have a hella imagination. I've been an accident where I wa hit in the rear, and I went into vehicle #3. Vehicle #1 that hit me had. No Insurance. But I hit vehicle #3 as a result.... My insurance company had to pay for vehicle #3.
Another accident. Yes I'm good to hang around...........
vehicle #1 ran a RED light, bounced off me (Totaled out my 95 Tauras) went into vehicle #3. My insurance company paid out to again. Vehicle #3. Cause they deflected off my vehicle, and hit there's.........
Been there. Done THAT twice.

okay here is the details

vehicle 1 2000 explorer
vehicle 2 1995 e-350 van
vehicle 3 1997 dodge ram van

vehicle 1&2 are sitting in a turn lane (you know where there is five lanes and the middle is the turn) as vehicle 1&2 are waiting for traffic to trun vehicle 3 rams the back of vehicle #2 @ 35 mph pushing vehicle #2 into #1 totaling all 3 vehicles

it seems the driver of vehicle 3 did not own the van the insurance card that was gave to the cops seems to be invalid

insurance on vehicle 1 say claims agiast #2 #2 say no claim on your own insurance ... so the fun begins

I'm assuming that you were vehicle 1.

Hire an atty to sue the ins co of vehicle #2.

That is the vehicle that struck you.

Bottom line is that you are physically ok, everything else is fixable.

yeah the cars as much as I love cars are nothing but a molded peice of metal that some day will make it to the crusher...my biggest gripe of all of this is I carried insurance since I was 16 we have to pay for uninsured motorist and still with all this technology we still have people driving around with no isurance who will cause a wreck and walk away with having to tak no responceabilty... there was 11 of my youth group on the van includeing my daughter and then 2 in my wife vehicle (her being one) nothing like the felling you get when you turn the corner and see two of your vehicles in a wreck (I was in a 4th van) ... okay rant over sorry

I've never been in a situation like that, but it seems as if nobody was seriously hurt, so that is big plus. I would *think* that the driver that caused the wreck would be sued by the insurance carriers of the other 2 vehicles if that third driver was under/non insured...

Not sure on that though. Back in 1995 my father's truck was hit by a commercial cardboard recycling truck who's owner had no insurance...my dad's Ins. Co. sued the **** outta the guy, AND fixed my dad's truck...hope it works out well for ya.
