Basically I am using this forum as a testing ground trying to find out what is up with my signature but thought I would post something relevant here just because I think it's cool.

Just out of curiousity, did you get that dual snorkle air cleaner from an 82-85 mustang.

No I actually made the air cleaner from my original and one from the junkyard. I am in the process of making dual "ram air" intakes to match the factory style ones that come out the radiator support.

Yea the filter is now a Motorcraft that Fram was a 5Quart and a Filter deal, figured I'd run it for a day or two after the rebuild and then put on a good one.

That's a good job on that air cleaner, it's looks factory. I've got a single snorkle out in the shed same color as that. I got it in a junkyard off of another truck. But that looks really good.

Also, you may say I'm dumb for this, but I like my fram oil filters. I use them when I can't find my motorcraft.

Is that a 3 on the tree or is it a floor shift?

It was 3 on the tree when I got her but I have put in a floor shifter... No one ever rides in the middle any way.

I used to use Fram filters all the time just because I like the color Orange but after cutting a few filters open I realized that Fram is not exactly what I would call quality. I will use them after a rebuild to get anything that may have gotten into the block out but replace them shortly after. I do that regardless of what type of filter it is.

Looks real nice. I decided to use the factory cold air intake along with the heat stove. Works real nice for drivability.
