Pulling the front axle is cake....

Pull the wheel.
Pull the brakes.
Pull the hub.
Pull the rotor
Pull the knuckle.
Front shaft should slide out.

ehh idk it was my dd and i was always have some problems with it. just got on my nerves. i didnt have the money to make it the way i wanted either at the time. i wanted to put a 460 in it and power steering and front disc, but it was fun cruizin in town thats for sure. got lots of looks in it. the 352 in was junk though i needed a new motor bad.

Thanks Guys,

I bought it 18 years ago from the original owner with 50,000 miles on the clock. I was told the PTO winch and tool box are West Coast Dealer options.

too bad you dont have it and the 79 you are building now. Motor trans t-case front axle and steering system would bolt up without much work.

I always wanted to build up a 66 swb I had. Sold it to build motor #2 instead

ya i wanted to lift it up, but i hated going wheeling in it, which i didnt do alot cause i was afriad i was gonna cut my wrist off, if i hit a rut that wheel would take off spinning 100mphs, and i hate that stupid bed, them come with the earlier years to and it just didnt match up good, but it was orignal though.
