Hey I got 37's and the 44TTB I think it is and I beat it around pretty good off road. No casualties as of yet besides a worn out u-joint. Hopefully I can fix that soon and finally get out. Anybody know how hard it is to pull the axle in order to remove the u-joint up in the front axle? I'm wanting to fix it this week but it it's a longer job I'll need to wait till the weekend.
Pulling the front axle is cake....
Pull the wheel.
Pull the brakes.
Pull the hub.
Pull the rotor
Pull the knuckle.
Front shaft should slide out.
ehh idk it was my dd and i was always have some problems with it. just got on my nerves. i didnt have the money to make it the way i wanted either at the time. i wanted to put a 460 in it and power steering and front disc, but it was fun cruizin in town thats for sure. got lots of looks in it. the 352 in was junk though i needed a new motor bad.
ya i wanted to lift it up, but i hated going wheeling in it, which i didnt do alot cause i was afriad i was gonna cut my wrist off, if i hit a rut that wheel would take off spinning 100mphs, and i hate that stupid bed, them come with the earlier years to and it just didnt match up good, but it was orignal though.
