Interesting about the 16.5s.. I almost went that route and then went with 16s and I run low low pressures and have yet to lose a bead.. pretty amazing really.

Then again Carlene, that is a damn nice bronco.

I changed the plugs and coils (8 of them) on my dads 2000 F-150. There's alot of crap that has to come off the engine lol. I had to unbolt all sorts of things just so I could get the plugs out. It was hell. :P

No Can Do on the key toss. I wasn't even gonna post a pict of that until it I had a good mud run photo, but when you said you didn't like any pre 70 Ford, I just had to.

The White Brondo does not have the motor in it yet. Steve just finished the re-build (pict in my garage). I just finished cleaning/painting. And, the biggest thing, is the seats just got delivered today. I have many, many more pictures to add to my "garage" photos, but heck, I just couldn't let you go with a comment like that.

I guess its a good thing that our 1941 is, oops, I guess its not a post-70 either. Sorry, couldn't resist. hahahahah

BTW Prozon, don't think I'm pickin on you cause I'm not, its just that I have a thing for OLD stuff.

You are the last person I would think would be picking on anyone lol.

That is quite an amazing looking engine. I really dislike those valve cover bolts though. Lol.

Such as.......the coils???? lol. Thats all you gotta unbolt to change the plugs on these trucks. What else did you pull off?

No, some bracket has to come off ( on my dads anyways ) so that you can pull the front drivers side coil out. The passanger side coils were all easy. I had the four of them out in no time. The plugs were all pretty messed up too. Its got a next to dead engine so I replaced plugs and coils to make it run half decent. The drivers side I had to pull some bracket off because it was mounted over the coil, and the fuel rail had to be unbolted so I could move it a quarter of an inch to slide the coil out. And the rear one was just hell. Very limited space.

And to ED,

I just said earlier than 70 in a vague sense. I really don't like the body style of the Ford posted. I'm not a huge fan of most old Fords, except for the ones that are built as yours.

IMO the 80's look cooler.

its debatable,,,
thats coming from a 15 year old,,but as far as looks go to me if i was given an 80's it would prolly still have the sign in the window.. you can take that any way you want
lol personal opinion.
.
but as you stated if its built,, well shucks that changes everything. lol
