Question Rim ideas for Shelby F100...anyone?

Hey guys...I'm currently looking for wheel ideas for a Shelby F100. I've looked at the repro Shelby ten spokes, but I don't really like them. Besides, it seems like everybody has 'em on their Eleanor Mustang clone.

Ideally I would like to have a set of 15 or 16 inch aluminum rims that are five large spoke with recessed paintable "webs" to match the trim colors. Does anyone know of old or new rims that would fit that theme and my bolt pattern?

I found these new Eagle 140s in the dual finish, but I don't think they are quite "Shelby" enough. They are also $$$.

CLARIFICATION-

This is similar to what I am looking for. I got a set of these ten years ago for my '69 Plymouth. They came off a junkyard '82 Cordoba. Does anyone know of similar wheels that will fit a dentside?

These are one repro...I think these are Ultra, and they are OK, but they are expensive!

These are American Racing repros, and they are even more expensive!!

First Today,

I've never seen any like that before...they look like an aluminum version of rally wheels.

I'm sure they would work pattern-wise, but I like the thinner solid spokes a lot more.

How much would you be asking for them if someone were interested? What do the center caps look like? And what is the brand name?

Thanks for your input.

They are in a junkyard. I was there yesterday and they are dirty but have no roadrash. They are ford factory 15x6 and number dummy gave me the info on where to get the centercaps. They are pretty rare since the people in the 80 to 86 section kept telling me they were after market rims. I found a ford brochure on ebay showing the rims on the ford truck and ND backed it up.(great guy)

I have been waiting to get a set of busted rims so that I can get them out of the junkyard for 12.00 a piece and the centercaps run about 40 t0 45.00 from ford.

I have seen two trucks recently with these rims within a 100 mile radius,

Any more ideas? I know there have to be some neat old rims out there that I haven't seen yet.

this rim is a example i found on the internet, its the exact same as the ones on my truck, except mine have the inserts painted black, as soon as i get them back on the truck, i will snap a picture of them on the new tires,

there very different and very period, with the inserts painted black the rims stand out even more, also the maker of this rim is called Keystone, and from what i can find, they are quite rare, but i was lucky to have them come with my truck,

here is a picture of my truck with the rims on, i got some OWL 31" tires on the rims now, along with the truck on the lifted 4x4 frame, this picture was taken back when the previous owner did his half @$$ restoration on the truck in the late 90s and it still was just a rear wheel drive truck,

i think they look good, and are different, mind you i don't like a lot of rims, i am more into vintage style rims like cragar style rims, and very few rims catch my eye, anyone else have rims like mine? i think the turbines are neat, and i particularly like mine, not to many spokes, some turbine rims have way to many turbine spokes and look over crowded and look difficult to clean and detail,

i think your commenting on my rims, if so thanks, and i haven't seen a set in person other than the ones on my truck, so i was shocked to find a set for sale on the internet, they where too far away, otherwise i would have liked to have a back up set, and from my findings there rare, also Keystone made them, nothing like them are even being reproduced to my knowledge today, to bad, there seems to be a lot of old style rimes that are still not being reproduced, ah well i guess its for the best in some ways, otherwise every other car or truck would have them! makes my truck stand out just that little bit more!

Back to the search for Shelby rims.
How about these? Kind of a different take on the style.

What about the V6 Mustang wheels from like '05 and up? I think they are a 17" and you'd probly need some wheel spacers, but they have the exact Shelby thin 10 spoke look you said your after. Plus they even have the 3 bar spinners on em and I beleive they are two toned from factory so easily paintable like you mentioned. I'm sure they are rather easy to find used too, and cheap being its just a V6 model car. Just a thought.
