2006 F350 6.0 turbo, no mods 84,000 miles (my first diesel). I was driving home at 65 mph and it felt like the truck died. Pulled into the ditch but truck was idling normally. When I push on the gas pedel it's like a linage poped off, no acceleratation only smooth idle at 800rpms (I seen it's a drive by wire after checking).Drove truck for 6.7 miles (3 hours) in "limp home mode" until I ran across a State Trooper that called a tow truck. I have checked this and other forums and have checked the fuses that could cause this problem. Fuse #45 is not blown so I don't think I have a wring problem in the steering colum others have spoke of. Any ideals?
Thanks for the input, I'll look thoses up to see how to check them. One thing I forgot to mention is I have a wrench light and engine block light on, if it makes any differents. Thanks
