Double check all your battery connections that they are clean and dry. A loose connection can cause your issue randomly.

Ok will do. The tow truck came and the guy hit the starter a few times while I tried cranking it and it ended up turning over and starting. I am thinking it is the starter, but I will clean the terminals before I try this. The battery gauge said there was power though, so I'm not sure if that is the problem.

Check the connections on the starter also. If all connections are clean and tight it sounds like it is time for a new starter.

Ok, its weird though. The truck starts now, but it has done this a few times and I was able to start it by putting it in neutral. I don't want to replace it if its not bad, but I haven't done anything and its working fine right now. I know that its gonna start doing it again when I am in the middle of nowhere or when I am in a hurry to do something.
