1996 instrument cluster ????

The clear lens covering the instrument cluster on my 1996 Bronco needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me how to remove the lens?

ok.. theres 4 screws you have to remove in the 2 sections of the dash that you have to take off, the first 2 are on the the very bottom of the dash.. the other 2 are under the trim pieces that go across the whole dash.. they pop right off with a flat head... then you have to take off the headlight switch.. pull it out(turn on the lights) and you'll need a small flathead to release the clip.. you'll see what i mean once you get to it.. after you have that off.. lower the stearing colum all the way (i also lock the park break and put the truck in low.. if its an auto) this makes it easyer to pull the piece of the dash out....... so once you have all that off the bottom piece will snap out of the upper piece.. then pull the black upper part out look behinde it and with a flathead try to unplug the rear window switch and the 4x4 switch, once thos are off you can pull that the rest of the way out and the cover on the cluster has 5-7 screws in it.. hope it helps i was in a hurry to type this... just let me know if you have any questions

You might want to try and move it out of "P" while wiggling the steering wheel with the key "on".
