I know on my '03 Eddie Bauer Expy the side mirrors would tilt down when I placed the transmission in reverse. Does this feature still exist on the 2008 model?

I believe that option has been nixed. I haven't seen that on any cars in a while, I think they used to call it curb assist. And with all the new rear view cams that are out there I guess that was something they deleted.
i have it on my 03 as well. absolutely love it. i think it was nixed in 04 or 05 due to too many problems with it. i guess we both lucked out since ours aer still working!!!

tilt down mirrors is not an option on the Expeditions. You will find it on GM's
