I'd like to blame the engine, but I've got a 275 rear end, so it should be better. Carb is a quadrajet. I don't think I push it hard enough to open the backs. Guess I need a pro to look at it.

Cool not ready yet

hi guys
great idea....
i'm still shopping for a place to live.
been looking at the smaller towns around austin and south of san antonio.
then i'll be able to work on the '56'.
it won't be ready for a while, but will be hitting lots of cruises when it's up and running.

So can you make the gathering? You could check out Marble Falls and Burnet just up the road. Johnson city is close by too. Send me a PM if you can make it and your wifes name if she's coming.

The time is nearly here for our Aug 30 meeting. I am looking forward to it.
I sent everyone that indicated they would attend an E Mail with a map of the location in Marble Falls.
If you are planning on attending and did not receive an E mail please let me know with a PM.

My workshop is going up, have a donor mark 8 sitting in the yard. Crown Vic front end waiting to be installed. As soon as the shops roof is up.
Is there going to be a get together this year???

San Antonio may be stretching it a little for Central Texas but I was born in Seymour in North Texas and now live on the east side of San Antonio. Just bought another 52 out of Brownwood this summer. In the final stages of rebuilding my 52 F-1 from the frame up, every piece. Should be able to paint the outside in the Fall.
Would possibly attend get together in Central Texas.

My F-2 isn't really in road ready condition. I'd still be interested in a gathering. I'd drive my 53 sedan.

I would enjoy another get together. At least I have a truck now...
I spent several hours today, building my new shop.
Hopefully late fall I'll be starting on the tear down of the 56.

I still don't have my truck ready for the road but would enjoy another gathering of South/Central Texas FTE'ers. Had a great time at the last meeting. I'm up for anything within reason. We had a good turnout last time.
