SHTF bumper for my EX

Looking for something to replace my cheap factory front bumper. Must be heavy enough to take on small cars, deer or Obama supporters. Looking for pictures, ideas or info on home built bumpers. No brush guards, something like a Ranch Hand bumper just not $1500-$2000 dollars. Thanks

SHTF stands for SH** HITS THE FAN. Meaning civil unrest, terrorist attack, riots, natural disaster, end of the world type stuff etc. Just trying to be prepared. No I'm not a wacko.. not yet...

Check out Ranch Hand on craigslist and stuff. Even a used one that has been through hell and back with good brackets will be stout as hell.

I thought the Legend series RH was still only like $1000?

There are other bumper manufacturers but I think RH is really at the cheaper of the barrel (from what I can tell).

I have Ranch Hand Bull Nose bumpers (F&R) on my Tahoe. They are stout and well made. The only cost for a small infraction is the cost of a can of black spray paint to repair.
