Oil Cooler replacement

Hi Guys

I have a friend doing my oil cooler replacement. He is down to the oil cooler but can't seem to get it off the engine. He's worried about damaging something. Any tips on getting this thing off the block?

IIRC there are eleven (11) bolts around the outside of the oil cooler cover assembly. PB blaster all the bolts and let it soak for awhile. Clean entire assembly and adjacent areas very good before removing the cooler assembly (brake kleen works well). After removing the bolts just lift it out, but have some rags where the turbo pedestal was to catch the oil. Be very clean, and don't get any crud in the the oil sump. Bail out oil with plastic bottle and turkey baster, and do not use any rags that generate lint. Replace upgrade screen and fill sump with new oil to about one (1) inch below rim. If you pm me your e-mail address I can send you some rebuild instructions. I will have to get the engine service manual at home later tonight, unless someone gets it to you sooner. Remember to follow the engine service manual for your torque values. Good luck.

I'll hit John up to put it in the tech folder if he doesn't beat me to it or if it isn't already there. I'm doing a bulletproof oil cooler install writeup as soon as I get all my information and parts gathered, so I'll include it in that too.
