*******s!!!!!!
I'm so pissed!!!! My truck got broken into yesterday. Went surfing for about 2 hours, when I got back I noticed glass shards all over the seat. It took a few seconds for it to sink in... then I saw the damage. The passenger triangle/wing window was broken, just enough so someone can stick their finger through and unlock it. I looked around and nothing seemed to be missing. Stereo- check. Ipod- check. Sunglasses- check. Cellphone- check. Clothes- check. Wallet- NOPE!!!!!! *******s stole my wallet!!!! Cash, credit cards, drivers license all GONE. I don't know which I'm more upset about, all the phone calls I had to make, cancelling my cards and the trip I'm going to have to make to the DMV, to gat a new DL or the fact that my original passenger side Ford script window is busted.
Man I wish I could of caught those *******s.

I feel your pain. It happened to me many years ago, the SOBs used my tools to remove my stereo!
I don't see any silver lining in the situation so I'm not going to offer the "At least this or that didn't happen and no one got hurt." line. All I can say I feel your pain.
In my old trucks I never lock the doors, I would rather have them rummage through them and find I don't have anything of value than have them break a window. If they want to steal it my trucks are super easy to hot wire there's not much to deter them. If I'm in a dicey area I'll remove my coil wire. When I first got married my wife had a '86 Firebird with a locking plastic cover over her gas filler. The first thing I did was reverse the lock so it couldn't be locked. She asked why and I told her I'd rather have some one steel $5 worth of gas than to pry open the lid and cause $1000 worth of damage to the car.

bummer, I feel your pain, I just had some renters move out and they left my propety a mess, I spent over 1K just to get started on cleaning out the inside...When people, trash your stuff, there's not much sympathy for them being destitute...I'd be the first guy to buy a fella or family lunch...just don't steal from me or ask for cash for booze...sorry bro...

I feel your pain, too. My truck had a flat on the interstate on the way to work a few years back. I left it parked for 8 hours and came right back with a spare after work. The pass. window was all over the front seat. All they took was an old cell phone that didn't even work and a radar detector. I'd have GIVEN them that stuff not to have broken the window. I'm with Bob. If I've got to leave one out in the open by itself, I just leave it unlocked now. Locked doors just keep the honest folks honest. The true scumbag thieves will get it one way or the other if they want it.

That's too bad. Little neighborhood brats threw rocks over the fence and busted the windshield in dads 55. Our neighbor at our old apartments actually called us one night at 1:30 am (her little one was sick, so she stayed up late with her) because there was someone trying to break the window in our Neon. I never thought my military training would actually be useful in the civ. world. Had both guys (twice my size) on the ground while I was on the horn with dispatch. Cops arrived to me having both on their knees, hands interlocked behind their heads, and facing away from me. I wish it were that easy all the time, but it's not. Good luck to you.

They know where you live now.
Bummer dude.
If they got your wallet they know where you live. Have your neighbors be aware of strangers in the neighborhood for a while. They may not go by but, better safe than sorry.
You might stay on alert for a few months. They'll want to let you forget and think you're safe before coming around.

Well, I hope things turn out ok. It sucks that an original window got broke. It sucks that they made off with personal info. It sucks that you can't go get some vigilante justice. Now, hopefully they try using the stolen cards and stuff and get caught. That's how my wifes purse and information got recovered, even though the Fred Meyers store where the thief got caught is still holding a check the thief cashed against us. They won't remove it from our credit report, and even though, legally, they can't hold us liable, they still are holding it out against us.....$68.00, and we can't write a check there anymore, and have to wait another 2 years for it to roll off our credit report. All though, I should just call a lawyer and sue them over it.....no, then I'd be one of those liberal cry babies I don't like. I'll keep my eyes out for an original Ford window. If I find one, I'll let you know.

you have someone inside your home or car that you feel is a threat, it is ok to kill them.
you can have a hand gun in your car or home with no CCL and no registration!
